About this product
The Callaway XJ Series Sand Wedge for juniors features a 32.5-inch graphite shaft with a junior flex, aimed at younger golfers. This right-handed wedge is sold individually. It shares the same design as the youth version but is labeled for juniors. Priced at $45, it sits at a moderate price point for junior equipment.
Our take
I bought this for my 10-year-old who's about 58 inches tall. The 32.5-inch length and junior flex seem appropriate for his size. The graphite shaft is nice and light, making it easy for him to swing. It's a decent sand wedge, but I'm not sure why the price is higher than the similar youth model. The head feels decent but not premium. For practice around the green, it does the job. Just keep in mind it's a single club, so you'll need to fill out the rest of the bag separately.
